DoggyStyleBiscuits.com is an
all natural, mostly organic, alternative to your dogs favorite treats. There is
no added sugar, salt, artificial colors or flavors. DoggyStyleBiscuits are made
with unadulterated human grade ingredients because we know how important it is
to you, that your dog gets the very best. DoggyStyleBiscuits are made with real
meat, so they have real flavor and taste. They are the healthy lifestyle dog
biscuits, made and baked here on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii.
The Biscuit
Each batch of
DoggyStyleBiscuits I bake is individually blended and baked, for 2 reasons: I
mix all the ingredients by hand, I do not use a mixer but a fork to blend and my
(clean) hands to kneed the dough. All the dough is rolled out separately and
each flavor is baked according to the particular heat required and cooled
specifically to achieve maximum taste and texture for your pooch’s pleasure.
Making each batch of DoggyStyleBiscuits separately ensures that every mixture I
bake gets plenty of aloha mixed in with the ingredients and this adds to the
flavor and your dog’s enjoyment of our product. Hand made, sniff tested!
Why make DoggyStyleBiscuits?
I’m often asked why I bake my
own dog biscuits, well Princess Jasmine is a member of our family and like any
doting mother I like to know what she eats. Many cheaper treats on the market
have low grade ingredients, preservatives and additives that are difficult to
pronounce, let alone digest! Treats (in our family) are a gift, a small present
for good behavior, or at ‘quite time’ at the end of the day. They should
represent how I feel towards my ‘best friend’, so I don’t want to give her the
cheapest treat on the market, I like to give her something that is a healthy and
nutritional addition to her diet. A tasty morsel that lets her know that I love
her.
Packaging
We keep the packaging simple to
keep the cost down. After-all what do most of us do when we have finished the
goodies, we throw the pack away, no matter how pretty it is. As part of our
company policy we are trying to reduce our use of the Earth’s resources, which
add to the depletion of her natural wealth.
In addition, pretty packaging
costs money to design and print, an expense which is passed onto the customer,
and we like to keep our costs as low as possible and the quality of our
DoggyStyleBiscuits as high as we can. We therefore keep our packaging simple and
our prices modest. If I could, I would be selling our DoggyStyleBiscuits in
bio-degradable containers, and that is our goal for the future.
Flavors
At present we have 3 flavors
available: Truly Scrumptious (peanut butter), Kalua Pig (bacon), Sweaty Sock
(cheese and garlic) and a Mixed Bag (4 of each flavor). We initially had a few
more flavors but these 3 proved to be the most popular when tested amongst our
friends’ and neighbors’ dogs. A few of the neighborhood children tried them too,
because they looked so tasty, but fortunately for our furry friends, the subtle
taste and lack of sugar ensured that they only tried them once!

service dog training
(for those who desire living assistance) uses our Sweaty Sock (cheese and
garlic) DoggyStyleBiscuits for training their dogs. They find the texture of the
Sweaty Sock makes it easier to break the DoggyStyleBiscuits into smaller pieces,
more appropriate for training.
Ingredients
All of our DoggyStyleBiscuits
have some common ingredients: Organic whole wheat flour, eggs and purified
water. Other ingredients, depending on the flavor, include: milk, cheese, peanut
butter, bacon, garlic, rolled oats, organic vegetable oil and margarine.
Please remember
DoggyStyleBiscuits are a treat, they are not a substitute for a balanced diet.
